Looking Through the Glass:
Watercolors, Pastels and  Prints of the White Mountains

For the first time anywhere, this magnificent exhibition of White Mountain Art will be featured in the Carriage  House Gallery from July 11 to October 19, 2008.

Curator and Art Historian Sam Robbins, though  his contacts and sources, has amassed more than 50 historic paintings, prints and lithographs from the 19th and 20th centuries for this special exhibition.  The breadth and depth of this impressive display offers a rich panorama of the splendor of the White Mountains, through the seasons and decades,  as seen through the eyes of a vast array of talented artists.  Some of these images have seldom, if ever, been on display to the public, and never to our knowledge has such a comprehensive collection of White Mountain Art ever been assembled.  We invite you to visit the Carriage House Gallery during your next visit to Castle in the Clouds.  We thank Sam Robbins for his time and effort in making this exhibition possible.
