Castle in the Clouds Teachers Advisory Group
Castle in the Clouds (CITC) seeks teachers from New Hampshire and its surrounding states to be members of the Castle Teacher Advisory Group (C-TAG). We welcome applicants from primary and secondary schools.
C-TAG is a group of educators who meets 6 times throughout the year to foster collaboration and learning among teachers and museum educators, discuss and research topics related to school and museum education, collectively facilitate, discuss and evaluate experiments in teaching practice and host roundtable discussions.
Goals:
- Identify school visit needs in terms of both content/topics and grade level
- Advise CITC Education Team as they work towards developing school “trunk” programs in best practices and methodology
- Advise Education Team as they work towards developing school field trips (on site programs) in best practices and methodology
- Advise Education Team as they work towards developing virtual school visits in best practices and methodology
- Test out pilot programs and provide ongoing feedback to help improve CITC school-related offerings
- Identify Marketing techniques and help implement them in order to connect more schools with CITC
Term:
The inaugural group meets bi-monthly for a 2-year commitment. Each additional term is a one-year commitment with a 5 year term limit.
Meeting Location:
Currently, we meet in person, but will be shifting to a hybrid or remote model based on what works for our members.

- Free admission for students to attend one CITC trunk program, virtual program, or on-site field trip each year
- 2 complimentary CITC admission passes per meeting attended
- $50 stipend per attended meeting

Applications will be reviewed and candidates selected to represent a diverse range of educator experience and expertise. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
