Solar Gazing
QUICK INFO
Disobey your mother and look at the sun…through a hydrogen-alpha telescope! Each Monday, members of the NH Astronomical Society will set up their telescopes in the field by Shannon Pond. Feel free to drop by and speak with the astronomers, learn about the sun, and try out their telescopes anytime between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Solar Gazing requires clear skies. In the event that it is raining or overcast, there will be an opportunity to chat with the astronomers in the Winnipesaukee Room on the second floor of the Carriage House instead.
This is a free program and registration is encouraged but not required.
