Join our head gardener, Gretchen Large, in touring Lucknow’s garden landscapes, and pick up some gardening tips and tricks for you to use at home!  Gretchen is excited to share with you her passion for gardening, which is displayed in the beautiful and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces surrounding the Castle. She even has her own business called The Random Gardener!

The gardens are constantly changing throughout the season, and no two tours are the same. We invite you to come back multiple times – there is always something new to see!

This tour includes walking through our gardens. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear.

Please arrive five minutes early to check in at the Carriage House. From there, you will be transported up to Lucknow Mansion for the tour.

To access the Carriage House, please use our entrance (GPS compatible) located at:

586 Ossipee Park Rd.
Moultonborough, NH 03254

Take Ossipee Park Road and bear right through the open fields, past the Café to our main visitor parking lot on the left. You’ll walk from there to the Carriage House, located just beyond the parking lot. Accessible parking is available directly across from the Carriage House.

All ticket sales are final; no refunds, transfers to other days, or exchanges. 

This program is weather-dependent, and the Castle reserves the right to cancel tours that have fewer than 2 total participants registered. If the Castle cancels a tour, you will be notified via phone or email the day prior to the tour and a refund for your ticket purchase will be made available. In the rare circumstance that we are forced to cancel, we hope to have you on another tour in the future!
