Opening Up Lucknow: Auditions

Description:

We are seeking an actress with improvisational skills to become Lucknow Mansion’s Head Housekeeper in 1922. Following a script, Head Housekeeper leads participants around the first floor of the mansion and engages them in activities under the guise of preparing the home for the owners’ return. Essentially, this is a one-woman show that involves engaging directly with the audience.

Qualifications:

Excellent people skills are required for this position, along with strong acting and improvisational abilities. Actress must be able to work with guests of all ages and backgrounds. Must be able to provide own costume and have a valid driver’s license. Love of history and acting experience are also a plus.

Audition Requirements

Please bring a headshot and resume and prepare a one-minute monologue. Part of the audition will be improv exercises with other auditioners.
