With a variety of locations to host your event, both indoors and out, Castle in the Clouds is your ideal venue. Whether you’re looking to plan a small, intimate event or a large elaborate affair, we can accommodate functions of all sizes. Our four separate locations will ensure that you find the one (or ones!) that coincide perfectly with your event.
The Lucknow Mansion Garden
Just past the turn of the century arts and crafts pergola, adjacent to Lucknow Mansion, sits a manicured oval lawn surrounded by gardens. An elegant masterpiece suspended 1,350 feet above Lake Winnipesaukee and looking across the Ossipee Mount Range this is a perfect spot for your wedding, impressing an important client, or holding a once-in-a-lifetime family event. The babbling fountain, birds and butterflies make for an almost magical spot for almost any event that is meant to impress.
This venue is available daily after 5:00pm. This truly unique spot is available for $2,500/hour (minimum of 2 hour rentals).
The Carriage House Restaurant and Terrace
Allow the fresh mountain air and spectacular lake views to follow your guests as they enjoy cocktail hour on the Carriage House Terrace. Featuring patio style tables with umbrellas, this is an ideal location for up to 200 guests for social hours and 80 to 100 seated for an intimate and elegant dinner.
In the fall and winter enjoy a cozy fire in our stone fireplace, explore the original horse stalls and walk our gallery while enjoying images of the Lucknow Mansion of the past as you and your guests engage in this uniquely cozy environment.
Available from 5:00pm through 11:30pm and is rented by the hour for Private Family Events and Corporate Meetings at $600/hour. Add access to the Winnipesaukee Room for an additional $150/hour (minimum of 2 hour rentals).
The Winnipesaukee Room
Whether you’re planning your dream wedding, a birthday or anniversary party, or a corporate retreat, the Winnipesaukee Room is the perfect backdrop. This renovated country chic reception room, warm and cozy courtesy of the hand-hewn wood-beamed ceilings and dramatic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding Ossipee Mountains will comfortably host seated gatherings up to 150.
Amenities include an 12’x20’ in-laid dance floor, full bar set-up, and a catering kitchen. Access to wi-fi, a podium and projector/screen is available as well. Let our events team work with you to create a custom event in this versatile room with its breath-taking views.
This room is available from 9:00am through 11:30pm and is rented by the hour for Private Family Events and Corporate Meetings at $300/hour. Add access to the Terrace for an additional $450/hour (minimum of 2 hour rentals).
The Meadows at Shannon Pond
The Meadows at Shannon Pond offer an ideal outdoor location for larger events such as wedding receptions, corporate cookouts, family reunions, proms birthday and anniversary parties. The rolling lawns provide ample space for you to construct the layout of your dreams. A tent of any size can be added to shield your guests from the elements.
The size of your guest list is almost unlimited. And the site is available from 9:00am to 11:30pm and can be rented for $300/hour (minimum of 2 hour rentals).
